General description
The CD4097 is a dual 8-channel multiplexer having three binary control inputs A0, A1, A2 and an inhibit — input (E). The inputs permit selection of one of eight pairs of switches. With E HIGH all switches are in the high-impedance OFF-state, independent of A0 to A2. The analog inputs/outputs (nY0 to nY7 and nZ) can swing between VDD as a positive limit and VSS as a negative limit. VDD to VSS may not exceed 15V.
